Last April 28th of 2012, I finally witnessed one of my siblings’ wedding. Amidst the hectic preparation schedule, I had to sneak out and capture once of a lifetime memories of loving couples. Together with the Fotofun photographers, this was a good first-time wedding coverage experience for me. Hope you all enjoy this first set of the Ivan’s and Aissa’s wedding celebration.

I never thought I would be able to catch this year’s cherry blossom’s blooming season, after having my schedule set to go back to the Philippines for good. Good thing one of my Japanese colleagues offered us for a quick ride to Kawazu, Shizouka-ken, Japan.

One for Davao City

Being away from my hometown makes it really nostalgic. I miss the places, the festivities, the safety, the Durian, and basically everything in Davao City. This year’s 75th Araw ng Dabaw festival could be the third straight celebration that I have missed being around in the city. I remember myself being part of the grand parade every 16th of March together with my brethren from DeMolay FIC. At the very least, Davao has been always close to my heart.

I have compiled a few shots taken few years back whenever I visited Davao City. I hope you enjoy this short photoset.

Hope you all enjoyed the slight glimpse of what is in Davao City. I am looking forward to have more people visiting Davao, whether it be for business or leisure. As long as you don’t bring trouble with you.

‘Tis the season to be jolly! Falala-lala-la-la. Celebrating Christmas in Japan (again), I’m pulling this photo set off my archive. This one’s from my visit to Tokyo Disneyland few weeks ago. They had a very Christmas-sy theme, but my shots got less captivating of the spirit of Christmas. But anyway, here goes my Christmas set from Mickey and friends. Carbon Market, Cebu, Part 2 – In grey

Few months back, I had a street photowalk in Carbon, Cebu with some of my colleagues. I have somehow forgot about some of the photos from that walk, so now, I’m pulling them out of my archive and posting this second set. This second part, I intended to grey out things and publish this set in black and white.

Climbing Mt. Fuji

During the summer of 2011, I engaged into another adventure; climbing Japan’s highest peek, climbing Mt. Fuji. It was fortunate of me to survive the climb, but barely. Factors that greatly affected was the unpreparedness because of too much confidence. Haha. It was tiring yet, fun and fulfilling. Of course, I can’t leave the place without photos of the place. Unfortunately, I was too much exhausted that I was not able to take photos at the peek and at the sunrise. But I hope you would still enjoy these photos.

Worldwide photowalk @ China Town, Yokohama

Once again it was this year’s Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk. A lot of shooters from all over the world have participated and this year is its’ fourth year. There were also a lot of walk groups in Japan. For me, I went with my fellow photographers from the AWS Photography Club. Our photowalk was around China Town in Yokohama. Special recognition to our walk leader, Kari Baker, who organized our walk group. This was one of the photo walks that I am glad to be part of. Hope you all enjoy my photos. Scroll away..
